the world expo in nagoya (aichi bumpaku) this year had a theme of 'human thoughts about nature". i think that out of all of the pavillions, the french pavillion was one of the only countries to really get it right. they had a four-wall + ceiling video about pollution and it's effect on the future of the earth.  

ok, i'm cheating as i didn't take this yesterday. but i was busy! so here's one from august. it's the castle in matsumoto at sunset. matsumoto has one of japan's oldest, original castles. and the sunsets rival the ones in niigata.

ok, so i should have done this ages ago. this is going to be my photoblog, where i'm going to TRY to post a new photo every day. hopefully this will make it somewhat interesting, it being constantly updated, and my million fans can add comments to what they think of my photos. also i'll stop being lazy and get out and explore this country more, taking my camera with me.
